2026/27 Expansion
Chuckster's has started an ambitious expansion that will add 30 more parking spaces, two large group pavilions for up to 240 people, more restrooms, and a second miniature golf course! After an 18-month approval process, physical work has been started. You can follow the progress below...
September 10: Step one is to build the wetland crossing to access the new parking lot/pavilion area.
September 15: The driveway to the new lot is taking shape.
September 18: Most of the stumping and rock removal is complete; now you can see the shape of the new parking lot.
September 22: This is the start of the new driveway from the existing lot to the new one.
September 22: Many truckloads of loam are leaving the site.
September 24: Prepping the pavilion area for concrete next week.
September 29: Concrete pads for pavilions were poured, now getting a nice, fine textured surface.
October 5: Lumber arrives for the pavilions; thanks, Belletetes!
October 2; Bollards and drainage lines between the new lot and the pavilions are being installed.
October 5: Many truckloads of millings (recycled asphalt) arrive for the parking lot top surface.
October 6: Starting to build the first pavilion.
October 8: The new lot is looking beautiful.
October 8: Pavilion one ot two is coming along nicely.
